There were over 20 people in attendance. We had approximately eight members attending for the first time. We hope they enjoyed it and will continue to attend.

Meeting Minutes:

Opening Remarks:

The meeting commenced at 6:30 PM.

Walt, the President, opened the meeting with a warm welcome and a few introductory words.

Opening Prayer:

Mike Schulze led the attendees in a prayer, invoking blessings over the meeting.

September Tournament Winners Announcement:

The September Tournament winners were announced. This month’s tournament had a total of 14 participants.

The winners were:

First Place: Vern Schaejbe, who received a cash prize of $90.

Second Place: Mike Schulze, who won $50.

Discussion of Local Fishing Events:

The group discussed recent and upcoming local fishing events:

Reel Blessed’s Event (September 9th): Members shared their experiences and insights from this event.

Kids Fishing Event (Recent Weekend): The success of this event was discussed.

Upcoming ORCA Fishing Raffle: Details and plans for participation were shared.

Members discussed the raffle held on September 28th by Catch a Florida Memory

Knot Tying Stations:

Two stations were set up to teach members how to tie the FG knot and the Uni Knot.

These knot-tying stations were well-received and proved to be a highlight of the meeting.

October Tournaments and Next Meeting:

Members signed up for October’s tournaments, with the tournament payout being based on the number of entries.

The entry fee for the tournament was confirmed to be $10.

The October tournament was scheduled to start on September 29th and run until the day before the next chapter meeting.

The next chapter meeting was set for October 26th.

Adjournment:

The meeting was adjourned, concluding on a positive note.
