This weekend didn’t involve fishing rods, but it reeled in some amazing memories! 🤩 Tania and I decided to swap our fishing gear for an adventure at the Salt Strong Insider meet-up at E.G. Simmons Park in Ruskin, Florida. 🌊👫

To make it a full-blown getaway, we stayed at our Blue Green timeshare in Orlando. 🏡 The meet-up kicked off at 11:00 am and went until 2:30 pm. Tania and I arrived at 10:45 am and started mingling straight away. We had a blast connecting with old friends and finally putting faces to the names we’ve only known in the community. 🤝

Catching up with Joe Simonds and meeting Salt Strong Coach Pat Ogletree was awesome. 🎣💬 We also had a great conversation with Captain Peter Deeks. We cannot forget to give a big shout out to Captain Mark “Hollywood” Johnson for teaching Tania and I how to throw a castanet. Thanks to Salt Strong, we enjoyed pizza, snacks, and water, and we even had a DJ keeping the vibe alive. 🍕🎶

The highlight? We were lucky winners of two boxes of Diawa 20lb J braid in the raffle! 🎟🎁 After the meet-up, Tania and I hit the shops before heading back to the hotel.

No fish on the line, but a weekend filled with laughter, new friendships, and unexpected wins? Absolutely priceless! 🌟🛍 #SaltStrongAdventure #GoodTimesWithGreatPeople
