Good afternoon! I hit the canals during my lunch break today, heading to the spillway behind Subway, and it turned out to be a fantastic outing. The bite was on fire—I landed ten bass! While most were on the smaller side, they made up for it with their aggression.

One highlight of the day was a bass that literally jumped out of the water to grab my jig just as I was about to recast. Moments like that remind me why I love this sport!

All in all, it was a great way to spend my lunch break—productive, exciting, and a perfect escape. Tania and I send our best wishes to all fellow anglers.
