At Reel Blessed, we believe in strengthening family bonds through the sport of fishing, and we are always amazed by the generosity of those who support our mission. This past week, Tania and I had the privilege of meeting Larry and Roberta at Myakka State Park, where they made an extraordinary donation to the Reel Blessed Chapter of Fishing’s Future.
Larry and Roberta generously provided 30 rods and reels, along with boxes of tackle covering everything from freshwater crappie fishing to saltwater surf fishing—and everything in between! Their donation also included a variety of bobbers in all sizes and two large tackle bags, one of which Larry himself used on his fishing trips to Canada.
This kind of generosity has a lasting impact. Because of Larry and Roberta, countless families and young anglers will have the chance to experience the joy of fishing. These rods, reels, and tackle will be put to great use in our programs, helping families learn the art of fishing while creating unforgettable memories together.
We cannot thank Larry and Roberta enough for their support. Their donation strengthens our ability to teach fishing skills, encourage conservation, and, most importantly, bring people together through this incredible sport.
To everyone who supports Reel Blessed and Fishing’s Future—whether through donations, volunteering, or simply sharing our mission—thank you. Together, we are making a difference, one cast at a time!
🎣 Tight lines and blessings! 🎣
