Tania and I decided for a Christmas gift for ourselves we would go out on a head boat. Going on the head boat makes my day of fishing completely stress free. I have no pressure to put Tania on fish. We decided to go out on Miss Fort Pierce, as Captain spoke at the Port Saint Lucie Anglers meeting last week.
I really like how the Miss Fort Pierce does their reservation system. When you book on them you actually pick the spot on the boat you will be fishing. This is great so you don’t have to get there hours before they open to try and get a stern spot if that’s the spot you want. The captain assured me all spots are good on the boat, so Tania and I took spots 8 and 9 as the stern was already fully booked.
The Miss Fort Pierce is out of Causeway Cove Marina, and they fish daily from 7:00am-3:00pm weather permitting. Click the link below to check out the website for Miss Fort Pierce. I am looking forward to fishing tomorrow as the weather looks nice.
The Marine forecast tomorrow is a NE wind at 5-10kts with 3-4ft seas at 10 seconds. There will be a slight chop on the intracoastal waters with a slight chance of showers and a possibly thunderstorm in the afternoon. Had Tania and I not reserved our spots on the party boat we would have headed to the boils.
I will write up a full report and post on Monday. Tania and I pray for all who make it out this weekend. May you have a safe and blessed trip with tight lines and good times!
