Surf and Turf for Supper

Good afternoon my friends and family. Tania and I pray all our SE Florida friends stay safe as Nicole heads our way. If you need help putting up shutters let us know. I would be happy to help.

While we are waiting for the storm to come and go, I decided I would like to share one of my favorite ways to make fresh snapper. This is a quick and easy meal, which is helpful after a long day. I cut the fish into strips, then I place them into a gallon bag. I added some avocado oil and seasonings, then let marinade for a minimum of an hour. The seasonings I used for this meal were garlic powder, Frank’s Redhot Seasoning, Adobo, and Honey Sriracha seasoning, but you can use whatever seasonings you like.

For this meal my wife made some roasted potatoes and seasoned asparagus. I grilled up some filet mignon while I was grilling up the snapper. Tania ate steak and I had a surf and turf. I washed down my supper with some Victory Festbier, my friend Daryl brought for me from Pa. It was a great supper washed down with a good beer.
